Introduction:
The CP540 is a professional Compressor, it features 5 switchable filters in the detector side chain: 60, 90, 130, 200 and 440Hz. This enables the user to custom tune the compressor behavior to prevent bass frequencies from triggering the compressor. In practice, this prevents the low end from dominating compressor
activity. It will give you clean and effective compression control.The CP540 Compressor also has an external side-chain input, which gives you even more control over your dynamics. Great engineers know how important smooth stereo-bus compression is for adding that final polish to your tracks.
The CP540 provides you with a wide range of compression, from a mild 1.5:1 ratio to a heavy 10:1 setting. You also can use the CP540 Stereo Compressor as a mono compressor, you need only use the left channel inputs and outputs. All functions are as normal.
