Marine lubricant --- Marine system oil 3008
SINOPEC marine system oils 4008 are prepared from paraffinic mineral base stock by blending with selected superior performance additives. The products have outstanding water separation capability. The formulation is specially designed for lubrication of the crank case in marine low-speed cross-head diesel engine, trunk piston diesel engine using fuels of lower sulfur content and other anxiliary equipment.

* good anti-oxidation and thermal stability to reduce the oil oxidation rate and extend the life of use
* good alkalinity retention, detergency and dispersancy to keep the engine in clean state

Applications
* marine system oil 3008 is suitable for lubrication of the crank case in marine low-speed cross-head diesel engine, also suitable for lubrication of trunk piston diesel engine using fuels of lower sulfur content, or use on rear-end shaft and other auxiliary equipment
