Pumpkin seed oil is high in nutritional value as it contains 30% to 40% protein, unsaturated fatty acids (of which 18.0-38.0% is oleic and 40.0-62.0% linoleic).
Pumpkin seed oil has been shown to help men with benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH. Studies show that pumpkin seed oil helps reduce the effects of BPH by inhibiting testosterone-induced prostate growth.

Storage: The oil should be stored at a cool and dry place, protected from light.
Shelf life: The shelf life of the oil is two years if unopened in the original package. Once opened the oil should be blanketed under nitrogen and used within six months.
