Details of suspension clamp

Suspension clamps shall be suitable use on aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR)of outer diameter between 7.00mm and 18.2mm(25mm2 and 150 mm2)

Clevis ended hook type and pivoted (similarly known as envelope type and truntion type respectively)

(i) The clamp body and keeper piece shall be of high strength, heattreated cast aluminium alloy

The clamp cotter bolt ,hangers brackets and ubolts shall be of galvanized steel and the cotter pin shall be of stainless ste

There will no sharp edges, and corners rounded. All steel strain clamp fasteners will be clean rust free, smooth and uniform throughout and will also be free from burrs.

Angle suspension clamp type (similary known as side opening type )

(i) the clamp shall be suitable for use on turning angles from 10 to 120 degrees

the clamp cotter bolt and bolt shall be galvanized steel and the cotter pin shall be stainless steel
