Specifications
bentonite caly powder is natural aluminum magnesium silicate thickening and rheological additive.HY-series water-based bentonite is a kind of natural aluminum magnesium silicate thickening and rheological additive. Its main ingredient is hydrophilic and high purity (modified) montmorillonite. The performance of the gel is similar to that of the products (Veegum or Magnabrite) produced by American Findbeer Company. This product is widely used in water-based coating, emulsion paint, toothpaste, cosmetic, rubber, papermaking and so on. It acts as floatability, thixotropic agent, stabilizer, thickening agent. In foundry coating and various ceramics colorful glaze coatings, it is used as floatability and thixotropic agent. Compared to using organic polymer such as CMC, HEC respectively, the performance of this products is better in many aspects.
The products are mainly classified into eight types:HY-30A, HY-30B, HY-30C, HY-30D, HY-30E, HY-30EV, HY-30EW-2, HY-30Li.The product features are as follows:
1.Strong thixotropy: The index of thixotropy reaches to 6.0.
2.Extensive appliable Ph range: It will go into effect during PH5-12.
3.Easy dispersiveness: It is unnecessary to be used as pre-gel or to add polarity activator.
4.Stability: It is of good heat stability.
5.Compatibility: It is easy to dissolve in the alcohols and high polar solvents (such as glycerin, sorbitol).
