General Information
ZSFM deluge alarm valve is comprised of the body, cover, diaphragm and other parts and fittings, shunt valve, electromagnetic valve, pressure switches and water powered alarm. Deluge alarm valve can automatically make water flow in a single direction into the sprinkler system and send out alarm by means of wet, dry and electric control. It is extensively applied in deluge system, pre-action system, water mist system and water curtain system.
Working Principle
When the diaphragm is closed, the valve body is divided into upper and lower part.
The upper part is connected with pipe network of automatic sprinkler system and the lower part is connected with pipe network of water supply system.
The sealed cover and diaphragm form a cavity with pressure control. There is pipe connecting water supply pipe of upper valve body. When the cavity pressure and water supply line pressure keep balance, the diaphragm is in a sealing state(for the preparation condition).
At this point, the water supply system is unable to supply water to the pipe network. When the cavity pressure drops, the diaphragm will automatically opens and supply water.

Places for Installation
Usually installed in hospital, inns, malls, gyms, airports, factories, libraries, exhibition centers
and other places with automatic sprinkler fire system.
Installation
1. Before installation, wash the pipeline and test the pressure.
2. When lifting the valve, exert force on the two flange neck. Not allowed to exert force on the pipeline accessories, to prevent deformation and damage.
3. This valve should be installed vertically on the line with arrow up. It you want to horizontally install, please state when ordering. Remember to spare adequate space for the convenience of operation and maintenance.
4. All the drain ports of the valve are connected to the drain line with a suitable galvanized pipe or hose.
5. The solenoid valve should be connected to the electrical cabinet by the control module. Voltage for DC24V.
6. Pay attention to the installation of water powered alarm. Small caliber for water inlet, need to be installed horizontal. Big caliber for water outlet, need to be installed vertically.
7. Both sides of the valve have been installed with fire signal valve for the convenience of control and maintenance.
Caution
1. ZSFM deluge alarm valve is packed in wooden cases, and equipped with electromagnetic valve, pressure gauge, water powered alarm, pressure switch. Do not have to reorder. Instructions for use, packing list and certificate are enclosed in the package.
2. Manual opening of the control valve should be set warning signs to prevent artificial operation.
3.In the process of transportation products, prevent rain and vibration. Avoid impact when loading.
