Shank adaptors-carburized and manufactured with tighttolerances and controlled straightness.
Used in extension rod connection, its function is to transmit impact energy from the rock-drill piston, as well as rotation torque, into the drill string with no losses. It must withstand and transmit up to 6300 blows per minute from the piston continually, with great endurance and dependability.

Shank rods, drifter rods, couplings, shank adapters and drill bits. Drifter rods have a powerful male thread at the impact end, and a smaller male thread at the bit end. MF drifter rods have a female thread at the impact end and are threaded to the shank adapter directly. Drill bits range typically from 35 to 57 mm in diameter. This product group also includes reaming equipment for drilling large-diameter relief holes in the cut.
