Options are available for 900 micron allowing the installer to terminate and make connection in minutes at equipment and fiber patch panels. Our quick connector system removes any requirement for epoxy, adhesives or costly curing ovens.All the key steps have been done in the factory to ensure every connection is excellent.High quality but low price because we bring these in direct from the manufacturer. |

Factory
1.Tools and Connector preparing
QAC composed of: Housing, connector main body, tail Take off the housing and the tail, open up the cable gland, insure the lock is closed to the tail
2.Put the tail on the cable, strip off the coating Put the tail on the cable Strip the cable with cable stripping vice to a length of 50mm
3.Fiber cleaving
Stripping the 0.250mm fiber with the cutting guide to a length of 20mm by miller pliers Clean the striped fiber with an alcohol airlaid paper, cleave the bare fiber to 10mm with the cutting guide on fiber cleaver. 0.250mm fiber length :20mm , 0.125mm bare fiber length: 10mm
4.Insert fiber and lock
Hold the QAC and insert the cleaved fiber gently with the other hand, until reach the pre-embedded fiber and produce a bow about 2mm. Keeping the bow and holding the QAC, push the lock to the ferrule direction with your nail to clamp the fiber.
5.Release the bow and tighten the tail
Release the bow and put down the gland, pinch the root of the gland with one hand, and tighten the tail with the other, then put on the housing to finish assembling(pay attention on the direction of the housing)
6.Re-assembly Take off the housing, push the lock to the tail direction, unscrew the tail and pull off the fiber.
