Description:
1. Micro Silica fume consists primarily of amorphous (non-crystalline) silicon dioxide (SiO2).
2. its average granule diameter is 0.15~0.20 µm,specific surface area is 15000~20000 m2/kg, and it has extremely strong surface active.
3. Micro silica fume can be used in a variety of cementation products, such as concrete, grouts, and mortars as well as elastomeric, polymer, refractory, ceramic and rubber applications
4. It is acid-insoluble (except HF), slightly soluble in KOH solution.
5. It possesses optical activity, pyroelectricity, and piezoelectricity. There are usually solid, liquid, and
gaseous inclusion in the crystalloid, and it contains microelement ion, Ore are usually in grey, yellow,
etc.
Application:
Steel and foundry: Blast furnace troughs and runners, ladle linings, sliding gates, etc.
Cement: Preheater linings, lining in the chain system and lining of in- and outlet zones of rotary kilns
Glass and ceramics: Kiln furniture.
