INTRODUCTION
Most of ferroalloy products can be used as inoculant, such as silicon calcium, ferro silicon, silicon manganese , silicon metal etc. Inculant can promote the graphitization and improve the quality of iron, especially , it can increase the toughness and hardness of steel. Silicon metal is better inoculant. Inoculant is applied into casting iron.
