Info of Ferro Silicon
1.Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is mainly composed of ferrum and silicon.
2.Ferro Silicon uses coke, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and it is made by electric furnace.
3.Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO2, the ferrosilicon is often used as
deoxidizer in steelmaking.

In the steelmaking
As we all konw , Ferro Silicon can be used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the steelmaking. Usually , in order to improve the toughness and elasticity of steel, fesi used as additives is put into the liquid steel.
Ferro Silicon uses coke, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and is made by electric furnace.
In the casting iron
Fesi can be used as inoculant in the foundry. Because it can promote the graphitization of pig iron.
Fesi powder is used easily and facility as inoculant. And its inoculation effect is not bad.
In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.
