Carton Flow Rack, with its tilted shelves which improve visibility and order accuracy, is the perfect answer for split case or piece picking.
The racking is developed from the medium duty racking. Aluminum or steel roller rail are equipped between a pair of beams per layer to form a slope of 3 degree, and under the driven of gravity, product moved from the loading side to the picking side of the rack, "first in first out" of goods are realized.
The height of the racking is normally lower than 2.5M and the loading capacity of each layer is 1000kg at the most. Shelves can also be adjusted to meet your picking height requirements.
Usage and Characters:
1.Gravity racking system is being used as buffer storage in shipping areas, production, goods reception and dispatch.
2.This kind of racking is normally being served by fork lift truck and reach truck. Hand pallet trucks can be used on the lowest level at the picking side.
3.The storage principle is first-in-first-out (FIFO). Stored goods with expiration dates or product batches are easier to supervise. The design of the gravity roller tracks can be adapted by different roller pitches and break rollers to guide the stored goods.
4.Further advantages of this storage system are in the optimal surface and volume use as well as the possibility for integration into automated material flow.
5. The pallets can be served on multi-storey levels with an additional order-picking level or tunnel.
