1. Why is this not working? both units were off, hooked up, turned them on no signal!
A: Can you hear any sound from the pc are lab top.
Did you change the screen on the lap top to display on a monitor...
2. Can I disregard hooking the audio cable and use my bose speakers on the computer?
A: Yes you can, or you can just plug the bose speakers to the headphones outlet if like me you are using the adapter on a computer that has 2 audio outputs. There are cheaper cable with no audio capability and in your case you could use one of those.
3. After you hook all the cords up properly, How do you set your computer to to make this work on the tv or monitor?
A:I choose the HDMI input on the TV
4. The product displays green tinted screens on my other monitors, how do I fix this?
A: I use mine with an older Dell Laptop hooked up to an older Sony 32 inch and it works fine. You may have a bad adapter.
