Q1.Difficulties for transparent parts manufacturing?
A:a. Sanding .After cnc machined and before polishing clear, craftsmen should burnish the work piece with
sand paper up to 2000,to make it highly smooth without any marks.
b. Polishing. To make the work piece totally transparent and nice looking, craftsman should spend much more
time to polish it.
c. Gluing mark will be visible, splitting not available for appearance parts.
Q2. Which materials can be transparent ?
A: PC, PMMA(Acrylic) .
Q3.What Treatment/finish can be done for transparent/clear prototypes?
A:hot bending, semi-transparent, sand blasting, and painting.
Q4. What is the maximum size for machining transparent parts?
A:EbyTon maximun machining size is 1800*1200*650mm.Yet it still depends on the specific part structures.
Q5. What methods can be used to make Clear parts?
A: cnc machining,silicone mold(vacuum casting).
Q6. Which industries does EbyTon mainly cover for transparent parts?

Q7. What is the differences between PC and PMMA material?
A:PC is less transparent,but more flexible and high temperature resisting;
PMMA has better transparency, and less flexibility more fragile, less high-temperature resisting .
Package
Mainly wooden box and carton box.Wooden is what we usually use for acrylic bottle products prototype.
Yet it depends on the size and weight of the products .
For parts with special surface treatment,like painting,silk-screen printing,anodizing and
chroming,etc,
in order to avoid damages to the surface caused by the heated plastic packing or vapour,
we'll wrap them up with paper first ,and then pack with white foam at outer side,then put
into the carton or wooden box.
