Characteristics of SmCo magnet
1.Very high magnetic properties with good stability.
2.Superior resistance to high temperature, Curie temperature of majority is over 800°C.
3.Excellent corrosion resistance capability, no coating is needed for surface protection.
SmCo magnet is a type of magnetic material made from rare earth metal samarium and strategic metal cobalt-main elements, with iron, copper, zirconium and praseodymium, and produced by a serial of process melting, milling, pressing, sintering and aging. It has high magnetic properties (high energy product, high coercivity, high remanence), very low temperature coefficient (-0.030% / °C), high working temperature (Maximum working temperature reaches 350°C), no negative temperature limitation, and excellent corrosion resistance. At working temperature above180°C, its maximum energy product, temperature stability and chemical stability are better than NdFeB material.
Therefore,According to the different components of the SmCo5 and Sm2Co17, respectively, they are the first generation and the two generation rare earth permanent magnetic material. Because of its raw materials are scarce, the price is expensive and limit the development. Samarium cobalt (SmCo) as the second generation rare earth permanent magnet, not only has a high magnetic energy product (14-28MGOe) and reliable coercivity, and exhibits excellent temperature characteristics in rare earth permanent magnet series. Compared with the NdFeB, SmCo is more suitable for working in high temperature environment

3.Applications
SmCo magnet is widely used in aerospace, defense industry, microwave devices, communications, medical equipments, instruments, wind power, a variety of magnetic drives, sensors, magnetic processors, high-end motors, etc.
4.Shape: Octagon,or Disc, Cylinder, Block, Ring, Countersunk, Segment, Trapezoid, Irregular shapes and more.
Customized Design (Design proper magnets for clients specific requirements)
- Packaging
a. Plastic separation will be put between strong and big pot magnets, then customer could be easily separate.
b. Batch magnets will be put in small white box.
c. 8 white boxes will be put in carton size 34x26x20cm.Foam form will be put between white boxes to avoid broken during shipment.
d.If by express or by air shipment,put iron sheet between foam form and external carton to shield the magnetic field.
e. More than 10 cartons will be packed to pallet, specially for shipment by sea.
