Brushless DC motor
l Profile
Brushless DC motors consists of the motor body and controller, is a typical mechatronic products. Because brushless DC motor is running self-controlled, so it does not like synchronous motors under heavy starting with frequency conversion to variable speed, which is added starting additional winding on the rotor, and it will not be out of step and oscillate at the time of mutation load. The permanent magnet of small and medium-capacity brushless DC motor is always more high energy product rare earth neodymium iron boron (Nd-Fe-B) materials. Thus, the volume of rare earth permanent magnet brushless motor is far smaller more than the three-phase asynchronous motor with same capacity.
Brushless DC motor has the DC brush motor characteristics and the frequency change devices, so they are called DC frequency conversion, the international generic term is the BLDC. The operating efficiency, low-speed torque and speed accuracy of brushless DC motor is better than any inverter control technology.
