The Potty Patch will assist you in training puppies as well as allowing your older dogs to go to the bathroom when it’s not possible to take them outside. The non-toxic Potty Patch is safe and very effective and will last many years with proper care.
ASSEMBLY:
1) Place Tray in the desired location.
2) Place Grate in tray, spikes facing up (to use without grass place grate with spikes facing down).
3) Place synthetic grass on top.
CLEANING:
1) Remove grass and grate from tray and dispose contents of tray in toilet.
2) Use warm soapy water (or Potty Patch cleaning solution) to clean tray, grate and grass. Let grass drip dry.
3) For solid waste: Remove and dispose waste in toilet or appropriate waste container. Clean grass, grate and container as needed.
HELPFUL HINTS:
- Keep Potty Patch in the same location.
- Potty Patch can be used without the synthetic grass. Just place the grate onto the tray with spikes facing down. This works well for puppy training.
- When training, use positive reinforcement while dog is on the grass.
- Check tray contents regularly. Tray will hold up to one gallon.
- Keep Potty Patch clean and clear of debris.
- Clean your Potty Patch as needed.
- Grass patch is cut from a large roll and may fray at the edges. This is normal and will eventually stop as it slightly recedes from the edge.
