NEWSUN Anti-Cold Foliar Fertilizer
(Improve Cold Resistance of Crops)
Low temperature (e.g. chilling and freezing) injury can occur in all plants, with significant effects on production. For example, in north part of China, frost damage can cause more economic losses in agriculture than any other weather-related phenomenon. Many fruit, vegetable and ornamental crops of tropical origin may experience physiological damage when subjected to temperatures below about +10 °C.
Anti-Cold Foliar Fertilizer is a special foliar nutrition product that developed to improve chilling/frost resistance in crops.
Characteristics of Anti-Cold Foliar Fertilizer:
1. Better resistance to chilling and frost in crops; protect crops at -8 to -10 °C for 15-20 days;
2. Help crops quickly recover from frost damage;
3. Better immune system of crops; reduce disease incidence after frost damage.
Components of Anti-Cold Foliar Fertilizer:
Amino acid: 100g/L min
EDTA -Cu, -Fe, -Mn: 20g/L min
Polysaccharide: 10g/L min
Mode of action:
1. Anti-cold foliar fertilizer stimulates the formation of Proline which protects plants against cold stress. Higher content of Proline will protect the plant cell from freezing, to improve the resistance to chilling and frost in crops;
2. Anti-cold foliar fertilizer reduces the decomposition of chlorophyll under the cold stress, and maintains the photosynthesis of the plants;
3. Anti-cold foliar fertilizer supplies high effective chelated elements for plants that will help plants quickly recover from frost damage, and prevent fruit and blossom dropping.
How to use:
1. Dosage: 100ml mix with 100-150 Liters water; spray on foliage and fruits.
2. Use time: 14 days before frost or chill weather comes; after plants sprout or before/after flowering at early spring; before plants dormancy at late autumn; after plants attacked by sudden cold.
3. Usage rate: 600ml/ha per application; 2-3 times applied.

Cash crops: Cotton, bean, tobacco, tea, peanuts, and etc.
Fruit trees: apple, grape, citrus and etc.
