The i-cafe is the interactive workstation designed to support 'stand up delivery' in front of a class. With a unique motorised height adjustment system the desktop level can be raised or lowered from 680mm to 1350mm at the touch of a button. This unique solution provides not only a flexible workstation for Lectueres/Teachers but is also suitable as an easily accessible platform for wheelchair users. For a more immersive educational workstation the i-cafe becomes the i-tutor. With the addition of a built in auto-focus Visualiser items on the desktop can be viewed via a projector or interactive board. An additional pull-out shelf is also available as well as remote controls for our i-rise desk if required.
Originally developed to offer secure computer access in stand-alone areas, the i-cafe benefits from core i-desk technologies with an additional high security palm-vein scanner.
For a more immersive educational workstation, the i-cafe becomes the i-tutor, creating the platform for "stand-up delivery" preferred.
With the additional of a built-in-auto-focus Visualiser, items on the desktop can be viewed via a projector or interactive board.
Both units benefit from an intergrated electric lift mechanism to adjust the height of the desktop from 680mm to 1350mm.
By allowing users to sit or stand, the i-cafe is ideal for wheelchiar users or even as a lecturer/teacher's interactive lectern.
