Enclosures of explosion-proof terminal boxes are made of die-casting aluminum alloy, the surface of which are sprayed epoxy resin powder. The exposed fasteners are made of stainless steel. So they can satisfy the requirement of anti-corrosion in chemical, petrochemical and sea industries and are used for dividing and connecting wires for various electrical apparatus and instruments in the 220V/380V circuits. Terminal boxes have six specifications. Built-in spire self-lock terminals have specifications for 2.5~35mm2 and connect and fix the entry leads.

Different type and specification cable glands apply to different cable entries. The entry (mounting end) aluminum cable glands are metric threads and the front ends are designed to pipe threads. The cable glands may connect to the conduits or explosion-proof flexible conduits for wiring. At same time the nuts with clamping devices shall be fitted. And the cables are clamped and fixed on the nuts by the metal plates. The unused entries must be sealed with the stopping plugs.
