What is QA30?                                                                          

 

Trade Name:            Blu QA30 Series for Oilfield
Active Ingredient:    Cationic polymer, cationic flocculant

Chemical Name / Family:       Quartenary Ammonium Salt

 

Blu QA 30 Series is the polyamine of 30% solid content.This product is cationic polymer of quaternary ammonium salt, it is colorless to pale yellow viscose liquid, water-soluble, non-toxic, good hydrolytic stability, keep stable in the wide pH. Freezing point:-2.8℃, specific weight:1.04g/cm3, resolve temperature:280-300℃. Clay can be dispersed in the oil, when the clay, sodium or salt-resistant clay soil are covered by cationic surfactants. Cationic improver has excellent rheology and capacity of cuttings transportation, which can keep well-bore stable, and other properties, such as Anti-jamming and anti-balling.

 

 

    

Applications?                                            

  • Be used to improve slurry stability, inhibit the mud shale hydration, expansion and decentralization in oil-drilling industry, in order to keep well-bore stable. As a cationic drilling agent improver, it has functions of heat-resistence, salt-tolerance and anti-collapsing, and low adding dosage can increase the sphere of action. This kind of improver will be your ideal choice in drilling system. Make experiments before use to determine dosage and application. 

  • Reference dosage: add 0.05-0.5% of the cationic improver to 5-10% slurry can be improved lubricity, abrasion, expansion rate can be reduced to 15-65%, plastic intensity is increased to 2-4 times as before. Dosage is much smaller than other lubricants, but we can achieve excellent properties.
