Introductions of Fap Discs:
Flap Discs are an essential tool for right angle metal grinding applications, and can be used in place of both grinding wheels and fiber discs. Dongtai Abrasives' Flap Discs are manufactured in the Linyi City, Shandong Province of China, using premium grade materials including fiberglass backing plates for strength and vibration absorption. Dongtai Abrasives Flap Discs have 30% more flaps than competitor brands; as a result, they last longer saving time and money.
To quickly remove material or handle curves and contours, a Type 29 Flap Disc provides an angled shape for maximum surface contact, which is perfect for more aggressive removal. A Type 27 Flap Disc is a Flat Flap Disc shape that works well for finishing or blending applications. Dongtai Abrasives also offers Flap Discs in multiple material types, including Zirconia or Ceramic. A Zirconia Flap Disc works well on stainless, hard steel, and titanium and continually produces new sharp points, creating faster cutting and a longer lifespan than aluminum oxide varieties. A Ceramic Flap Disc is another self-sharpening type that will last longer than zirconia and has a cool grinding aid. Ceramic are typically used for aluminum, carbon steels, stainless steel, heat-sensitive materials and more.
