All orders received by Shanghai YIWO are an indication that the customer had read, fully understands, and accepts all of the terms and conditions of this warranty policy.
This warranty policy is applicable only to rubber torsion axle.
(1) Warranty Coverage
Shanghai YIWO warrants their products to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service. The use of these products for other than their intended use or any alternations made to a product will render void all terms of this warranty.
The exclusive remedy offered under this warranty is repair or replacement of the defective item only. Shanghai YIWO shall determine and their discretion, whether repair or replacement is appropriate. Shanghai YIWO’S obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part and is not liable for any incidental or consequential damage to property or persons.
On discovery of any defect in the Goods, the Customer must immediately notify the Company in writing of such defect. The Customer must not carry out any remedial work to the alleged defective Goods without obtaining the written consent of the Company to do so. Any avoidable consequential damage arising as a result of failure to seek advice from YIWO will render any warranty claim invalid and void.
(2) Warranty Duration
The warranty period of rubber torsion axles are effective from the date of original invoice and extends only to the original purchaser of the product only.
3 years : Torsion axle beams from structural defects
3 years: Torsion axle arms from structural defects
3 years: Torsion axle rubber cords(Never out of the beam)
Not covered: Wheel bearings, seals, spindles and brake pads.
(3) Warranty Exclusions This warranty does not extend to or cover defects caused by:
• Normal usage wear and tear
• Unreasonable operation and/or use
• Accidents
• Off-road use
• Failure to provide reasonable and/or necessary maintenance
• Improper installation or assembly performed by another party other than Shanghai YIWO. • Any alterations made to parts supplied
• Non standard production parts
• Improper wiring of the brakes to the trailers or tow vehicle
• The attachment of the axle assembly to the trailer
• Alignment
• Improper wheel nut torque
• The welding of supplemental mounting brackets or members to exiting axle beam
• Shanghai YIWO will not be responsible for additional costs incurred for replacement, removal or reinstallation of any parts supplied. This includes but is not limited to towing costs, storage costs, labor costs, travel costs, postage and freight costs, loss of income or any other cost or loss incurred. The liability of Shanghai YIWO is limited to the repair or replacement of the product purchased only.
(4) Warranty Service To obtain warranty service, the following information must be supplied by the purchaser:
• Proof of purchase
Full contact details of purchaser
• Where applicable, serial number, of product
• Detailed description of the defect
