A selection of deep cakeboards also known as cake drums.This range is approx 12mm deep. With an attractive silver gold or other fern design, these cake drums are suitable for all fruit and sponge cakes and are recommended for heavier weight cakes. Our selection of round, square and shaped silver cake drums makes the perfect base for presenting any celebration or wedding cakes. Each cake board is 12 mm thick, wrapped in attractive aluminum foil or PET and are strong enough to support any cake, whether it is heavier fruit, or a lighter sponge. With sizes ranging from 6" to 20", we have a silver cake drum to meet your requirements. For sizes, cake drums boards a general rule is, for a sponge choose a drum 2” larger than the cake, and for a fruit cake, 3” larger. For enhanced presentation of your cake when using a drum board, ice to the board edge, and finish with 15 mm ribbon around it! |
