SPECIFICATION:
1.Material Notes: Austenitic stainless steel ASTM A297 grade HC,HF,HH,HI,HK; Austenitic chromium-nickel steel AS 2074 H5B, or as per customer's requirements. Chemical components and mechanical properties shall be meet requirements of the specification.
2.Casting process: vacuum casting or investment casting.
3.Tolerance on dimensions +/- 1.0 U.N.O., All tolerances are critical and has to be stipulated as per drawing.
4.All radii 3mm U.N.O.
5.Casting to be sound and free of porosity,blow holes and sand inclusions.
6.Appearance quality: Smooth appearance after sand blasting.
INSPECTION & TEST PLAN (ITP) OF GRATE CASTING
1.Preliminary casting design as per drawing and requirements of client;
2.Casting simulation and review results;
3.Final casting design as per drawing;
4.Review WPS and PQR,need to be approved by client;
5.Pattern making as per drawing(latest revision);
6.Molding;
7.Melting and pouring,chemistry as per material specification;
8.Verify chemical composition;
9.Cutting of Gates and risers;
10.Heat treatment: Castings of most type of austenitic stainless steel are normally supplied in the as-cast condition.
11.Mechanical properties: certificate;
12.Visual,cleaning & fettling;
13.Layout inspection;
14.Rough machining (if necessary);
15.NDT and Excavations;
16.Excavation map and review;
17.Weld repair as per WPS;
18.Stress relieving and NDT again;
19.Shot/sand blasting (austinitic stainless steel sand or glass bead);
20.Inspect and record dimensions,visual inspection;
21.Preservation and packaging;
22.Marking and tagging;
23.Final document review;
24.Final inspection and submit cert.of conformance.
