Description

This DVR VR8900 can be used for a variety of applications, especially for vehicle surveillance. You can use it in a car, in a school bus, or even on a boat. VR8900 does not only support Local Video Recording but also Remote Video Transmission as well with its new feature 3G. You can monitor the video and see the location even you are a long distance away. 4-channel video recording with audio, maximum 2TB hard disk supported for memory storage, high resolution D1 for every single channel, vandal proof design, and so on, all these features make VR8900 an amazing choice for protecting your vehicle.

How 3G works?

a. Buy a 3G sim Card

For of all, you should get a sim card, make sure there is some money inside, and then put it in the DVR sim card slot.

b. Build a server

For testing, you can use our server (IP: 192.22.13.183), but you can also build your own server. Just get a computer which is connected to the internet, install the “Server Software” on the computer, the server is done. Then add the DVR to the server, and set a password for the DVR.

c. DVR setting

It is easy as well, just go to the DVR menu, and enter the IP address of the server in the blank “Domain Name”. For example, if you use our server, then just put in 192.22.13.183.

d. Install CMS (Client Monitoring Software)

Install CMS (Client Monitoring Software) on any computer which you want to use for remote monitoring.

e. Done

Login to CMS software, put in the IP Address of the server and the password of the DVR as well. After above steps are correctly done, you will be able to see the DVR in CMS “device list”, double click corresponding icons, then you will be able to see the video and the location as well.
