Wire rod mill
wire rod mill is the key equipment for grinding after the crushing process, and it is widely used in the manufacture industries, such as cement, silicate, new building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ferrous metal, nonferrous metal and glass ceramics, it also can be used for the dry and wet grinding for all kinds of ores and other grind-able materials.
Features of wire rod mill :
- Double-row self-aligning spherical roller bearing replaces babbit-lined bearing. Friction resistance is greatly lowered down, easy to start and 20-30% of energy is saved;
- Grooved and ringed liner increases contacting surface between balls and ores, improving milling effect and saving energy through its lifting effect to the materials;
- All-in-one frame is used in middle-sized or small-sized machinery, facilitating engineering construction and equipment installation;
- Large discharging outlet and high capacity,discharge coarse particles,usually used in first stage milling.
Working Principle of wire rod mill :
After the material entering the hollow axis by the feeder, the material will be taken evenly and spirally into the first warehouse, where there is the ladder liner or the ripple liner with the different steel balls. When the tube structure revolving produces the centrifugal force, the steel balls will be carried higher to some extent, and then fall down to strike and grind the material. After grinned generally in the first warehouse of wire rod mill , the material then will be taken into the second warehouse, in which there is the flat liner, the material will be regrind and then be discharged through the discharge grate liner of the wire rod mill .
