Clary sage oil is made by extraction of Salvia sclarea from Labiatea family, widely known as Clary – clean and clear. Wild sage essential oil is transparent and of grayish-yellow color with sweet, nutty and slightly herbal fragrance. It is derived by steam distillation from the petals and leaves. Wild sage is native of the South of Europe. Wild sage oil is very useful for the nervous system, especially in cases of depression, stress, insomnia and long lasting tensions. It can ease menstrual pain by reducing the sense of warmth, irritation, headache and vertigo. It reduces pain in the muscles, regulates digestive problems and kidney ailments. The greatest benefit of this oil is that it has a calming effect on people and successfully improves general spirits. Wild sage oil contains 50% of Omega 3 type ALA unsaturated fatty acids and 50% of other elements, including all forms of vitamin A and all forms of vitamin B, including Q10. This oil has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect and is widely used as an antioxidant.
