- I choose this model because it has 5 ports. It hooks up easily and the remote works well. It does everything they say it will and it seems to be well built. Just make sure you order enough HDMI cables.
- Sweet product that does exactly what you'd expect. The automatic switching is nice and allows me to largely ignore the remote it came with. It's very small and looks great with the rest of my room.
- Very Easy to setup and use. It comes with a small remote to change your HDMI Ports. I have an LG Blue-ray Surround Sound setup with a single HDMI In. I have a ROKU and DirecTV that I use with this setup. The remote that I use is the Harmony Smart Remote... which has the settings for this device. It works great. FYI: I purchased a 5 Pack of 1.5' HDMI Cables for a cleaner look.
- Excellent Item. Works great as I currently have my PS4 and XBOX 360 plugged into this unit and it functions perfectly.
- Work perfectly. All the input outlets are in the back which makes for a neater organization. It has its own power source so it actually works! I've recommended it to my family for their needs to and they like it too
- It works much better than the cheaper versions. I bought a cheap one and it would be flipping out and going to black screen from time to time when my game systems and chrome cast where running. This thing manages everything much better and without having to unplug it and restart the thing.
- I just hooked this up to my HD television which only has 2 built-in HDMI outlets. I needed at least 3 outlets: one for my Amazon Fire TV, one for my Blu-ray DVD player//streaming device and one hooking up my laptop to stream online content such as movies, television and video games. The device does NOT degrade any video images or sound. It is so simple to use and I really appreciate how it automatically switches to any device which is the one most recently turned on. Simple and elegant design at a very reasonable price.
- A great solution to my issue! My TV unfortunately only has 2 HDMI inputs, and I need to connect 4 devices (DirecTV, Apple TV, DVD, and Nintendo Wii U). Autoswitch works perfectly, except with Apple TV as others have noted. For that, there is a remote to manually change it (or the device itself has a push button on the box). Paired with a Logitech Harmony 650 remote, this works great, as I can program the Harmony to switch to the correct port when it is changing to watching TV or DVD or whatever.
- This is definitely one of the best. HDMI splitters are not easily found in Singapore and I didn't want to run around looking for products out there. I bought this after reviewing the comments and user reviews. I find that the HDMI quality has certainly improved and the picture looks much richer. I thought it was my imagination but then there are few people who have commented the same. It is lightweight, super easy to install but mind you, the remote is small and may get misplaced if you are not careful. Over all I have given it a five star for this product and I hope it does not burn out as someone has complained.
