Use the Tomato Growing Bag to grow vine ripe tomatoes for your table! The reusable outdoor Tomato Planter Bag comes in a set of 3 bags. Makes it convenient if you live in an appartment or condo minium with limited space. These planter bags will enable you to grow your own organic vine ripe tomatoes on your own balcony or patio. The balcony planters hold 32 quarts of potting soil and allows you to plant 1 or 2 tomato plants in each bag, depending on the variety chosen. Porous seams provide drainage allowing excess water to drain, preventing root rot of your plants. These outdoor tomato grow bags manufactured by Hitac from sturdy woven dark green polythylene are made with strong webbed handles that make it easy to move around for proper sunlight. The Tomato Growing Bags are deep enough to cultivate other types of vegetables or even grow your favorite flowering plants. Our patio garden grow bags measure 15 inches in height that furnishes room to support your tomatoes with stakes or a cage. The bag can be folded flat for storage when not in use. | Planting Instructions |
1.Use potting compost or well composted garden waste 2.Add compost to the planter up to the level of the first planting hole and firm gently so that it does not sink later. 3.Position the first plant so that the crown is clear of the compost and outside the planting hole.Pot-grown plants are best put in place from inside the planter. 4.Add further compost up to the next planting hole,firm it and repeat the planting process. 5.Continue until all of the holes are filled and add 1 or 2 plants to the top of the planter. 6.Water well,keep the compost moist and add tomato or general fertiliser for an improved harvest. |
