Orange Moisture-Indicating Silica Gel Orange to Green
No Cobalt Chloride
Orange Moisture-Indicating Silica Gel was developed several years ago when the European Union banned the use of Cobalt Chloride Moisture-Indicators (blue-to-pink desiccant). It utilizes an orange composite dyeing agent that changes to green color upon saturation and is approved for import to the European Union
Silica Gel's Characteristic:
1. High security: no harm or poison for human beings and Non-toxic and tasteless;
2. Excellent Absorption ability: as high as 34%
3. It is insolvable in water/any solvents;
4. High absorbability and good packing material.
5. Good thermal stability;
6. Stable chemical properties, not with any physical reaction eliminated alkali and hydrofluoric acid, strong mechanical strength;
7. Good heat stability, It is also called dehumanize as a solid material in adsorb or absorb water vapor.
Silica gel's Usage:
1. Prevent the articles going mould or corrosion and rust;
2. widely use in shoes and cap, bags, furniture, toy, hardware, gift, wooden products.
3. Safe to use to protect foods, medicine, sensitive materials and much more. Even when saturated with adsorbed moisture, silica gel looks and feels dry to the touch.
Test Condition:
Test packing specification:1g/piece,2/piece and so on;
Constant temperature and humidity in climatic carton=25°C,
Test sample without outer packing,directly contact air in the box;

6) Difference with orange silica gel: this silica gel is not DMF free but orange silica gel is DMF free.
