Orange Color-Variable Silica Gel is non-toxic, odorless and chemically stable.
orange Silica Gel is a substance used as desiccant, when the beads take up moisture the color will turn tight blue.
Appearance:
Silica gel, composed of solid micro-porous silica beads, are typically used as a
desiccant. The numerous, interlocking pores on the beads work by creating a lower vapor pressure than the surrounding air, causing the water molecules in the surrounding air adhere to the silica beads.
Application:
Silica gel which is produced in our company is widely used in dehydration and epuration of industrial gas, liquid phase and desiccant. It can also be used as catalyst and catalyst carrier.
Characteristics of Color-Variable Silica Gel
The European Union decided in 1998 that cobalt chloride is carcinogen and blue silica gel containing cobalt chloride was thus prohibited and disappeared from European and American markets. To meet the needs of the market, our company produced color-variable silica gel.
In the form of spherical or irregularly-shaped grains, the gel is currently presented either purple,orange or yellow. With silicon dioxide as the chief ingredient, the product performs all the functions of blue silica gel but does not contain cobalt chloride and is therefore innocuous and pollution-free, and its color varied as humidity changs
Uses
Mainly used for drying and indicating humidity of precision instruments, medicine, petrol chemical, foodstaff, clothing, leather, electric appliances and other industrial gases, etc
How to use
Put proper amount sin a suitable container of package and set the package or container where drying of humidity indication is needed.This gel can be used indepentenly or in combination with other types of silica gel. After changing colof as a result of absorbing dampness,the gel can be reused after heating to chang back to its pre-use color. Heating is most suitable between 100-120 .C
