TENA tempered glass
Scientific principle |
Tempered glass, also known as toughened or reinforced glass, is made by annealed glass heated to its softening point and quickly cooled by air flow on the surface. After the tempering process, an uniform compression is formed over the glass surface while tensile stress formed inside the glass sheet. Thus both its mechanical strength & heat-stability are increased greatly compared to common glass sheet. |
Superior safety |
In case of being broken, TENA tempered glass sheet will change into thousands of tiny pieces without acute angles. Thus no injuries to the body of human beings can be caused. As shown by the two photos below.

High-impact performance |
TENA tempered glass can withstand the vertical hit of a 1 Kg steel ball falling freely from 1 meter height, and separately, the side hit by a 45 Kg ball of lead bullets from 1.2 meter height, without broken. Its performance is 5~10 times higher than that of ordinary flat glass sheets. |
Better heat-stability |
It can stand a heat-shock (sudden change of temperature) of 220~250 °C, while a common glass sheet of the same thickness can only stand 70~100 °C. |

Tempered glass of 15,19mm-Test Report
The testing results on the submitted samples of tempered glass used in buildings (Max size: 2440mm*3660mm, thick 15mm, 19mm respectively) are up to the requirements of related China National Standard (GB15763.2-2005, Safety glazing materials in building-Part 2: Tempered glass). These tempered glass sheets are suitable for curtain walls and other locations of buildings. The test report was issued by <National Glass Quality Supervision & Inspection Center>.

This CCC certificate (Certificate for China Compulsory Product Certification)
certifies qualification of, the quality assurance ability of the company
+ testing & inspection on the product model (of tempered glass used in buildings,
max size: 2440mm*3660mm, thick 15mm, 19mm respectively, are up to the requirements
of related China National Standard GB15763.2-2005, Safety glazing materials
in building-Part 2: Tempered glass) + randomly sampling, testing or inspection
on site after the CCC certificate is granted, in accordance with related CCC rules
(CNCA-04C-028:2009).
