Superior property of fire-resistance |
It is able to withstand the harsh test of fire, around 1000 °C flame, for max.180 minutes without broken and stop the spreading of flame and smoke. It can protect people & high-valued articles temporarily from the threat of fire and win the most precious period for people to escape, move away the high-valued articles and extinguish the fire. It solved the problem of poor fire-resistance of ordinary glass sheets in buildings. As illustrated in the picture below.

Scientific principle |
By special high-tech chemical & physical processing in a series of sophisticated machines, Na+ions on surface of the glass sheet exchange with K+ions in heated bathing liquid (melted chemicals in scientific formula) and form an invisible special surface cover with much stronger stress and higher fire-resistant properties than those of ordinary flat glass sheets. |
Comparing fire-resistant tests on three types of glass sheet (the same thickness) |
- The tested common glass sheet lost its integrity (broken by fire) of fire-resistance when the temperature reached 230℃ or so after the test began about 2 minutes - The tested physically tempered and processed glass sheet lost its integrity of fire-resistance when the temperature reached 700℃ or so after the test began about 60~120 minutes - The tested TENA high-impact Na-K fire-resistant glass sheet can keep its integrity of fire-resistance when the temperature rise above 1000℃ after the test began about 90~180 minutes |

-Most rivals’ fire-resistant single glass sheets: Only a thin layer of fire-resistant liquid is applied on their surface and dried into a film in factory processing. The dried film usually age & disappear gradually over a short period in a few months and lose the property of fire-resistance. -TENA high-impact Na-K fire-resistant single glass sheets: The invisible special surface cover, with much stronger stress and much higher fire-resistant properties, has actually been formed inside the glass sheet itself. High-impact performance |
It can withstand the vertical hit by a 1.015 Kg steel ball falling freely from 1.25 meter height, and separately, the side hit by a 45 Kg ball of lead bullets from 1.2 meter height, without broken. Its physical strength is 5~10 times higher than that of ordinary flat glass sheets. |

C-type 5mm thick single fire proof glass w/ integrity of fire-resistant not less than 1.50 hrs (Model: DFB-05-C1.50) in line with China National Standard (GB15763.1-2009, Safety glazing materials in building-Part 1: Fire-resistant glass) .
