Product Specifications:
- For measuring and testing the torque strain exerted by appliances with plug pins on socket-outlets, in accordance with IEC 60065 clause 15.4.1 and figure 11, IEC 60335-1 clause 22.3, IEC 60884-1 clause 14.23.2.
- The balancing arm of the test apparatus pivots about a horizontal axis through the center lines of the contact tubes of the socket-outlet at a distance of 8 mm behind the engagement face of the socket-outlet.
Standard outfit:
- 1 set of weight 0.5N-1N-1.25N-0.25N, for torques from 0Nm to 0.40Nm.
- 1 frame for the socket-outlet, pivoted around a horizontal axis through the center lines of the contact tubes, pivot 8mm behind the engagement face of the socket-outlet.
- 1 balance beam, with scale 0 to 20cm, rigidly connected with the frame for the socket-outlet,.
- 1 counterweight, adjustable.
- 1 two-pole UL socket-outlet, 1 three-pole Australia socket-outlet and 1 all-purpose socket-outlet.
