Tungsten Heavy Alloy shielding material
Tungsten heavy alloyare made with a high tungsten content and low amounts of Ni, Fe or Ni, Cu. Some tungsten alloy is added Co, Mo or Cr etc. The density of tungsten heavy alloy could be as high as 16.8~18.8g/cm.
Applications
shields for radiography, nuclear power plant shielding, nuclear medicine, X-ray collimators and area shielding, isotope production, transport and containment, oncology isotopic and accelerator based platforms, CT detectors, such as PET syringe shield, vial shield, beam stop, isotope container, FDG container, Technetium generator and multi-leaf collimator, tungsten heavy alloy sheet or tungsten heavy alloy flat etc.
