The damper of 1Kg is especially researched and produced for ADSS cable to decrease the additional vibration and bending stress to the cable as ADSS cable has light weight, small diameter and high vibration frequency. The structure of hammer is open tuning fork. It has been verified that it has four resonant frequency by State Power electric power construction research institute(EPCRI) and its anti-vibration frequency band width is larger than the FG,FD damper. This kind of damper has been used in ADSS cable widely. There’s tests confirming that this damper has four resonant frequency and has good anti-vibration performance to the vibration of 5~150HZ .
The damper for OPGW cable has special tuning fork structure and can produce four resonant frequency. It can cover the span of vibration frequency of OPGW cable well in reality. The amplitude of cable can be decreased by a wide margin and can form steady vibration frequency after the damper is installed, so the anti-vibration effect is satisfactory.
