Fixed current value in alarm mode is constant regardless of whether a remote LED indicator is connected or not, and excludes the need to change limiting resistor value when connecting a remote indicator. The detector is protected in case of detector’s connection to a power source of 30V or less without current limiting resistor in alarm mode.
