MUSH-3 Module

The module is designed to connect 2-wire fire alarm loops equipped with SPD-3, SPD-3.5, SPD-3.10, SPT-2B, SPT-3B, FT and other equal detectors to a 4-wire intruder-fire CP as well as  to a AC fire alarm CP.

Screw contacts are used to connect to the module:

-          contacts “1”, ‘2”, “3”, “4” – signal loop of FACP, limiting and EOL resistors;

-          contacts “5”, “6” – 12 V power source;

-          contacts “7”, “8” – 2-wire fire loop.

When a detector in 2-wire circuit triggers, the module issues the FIRE signal by intermittent decrease of resistance (between screw contacts “3”, “4”)  in alarm circuit of FACP with the red LED on the module turning on indicating it.

The module issues the FAULT signal detecting the following events:

-          open-circuit in 2-wire AL circuit;

-          short-circuit in 2-wire AL circuit;

-          no 12 V power supply.

The FAULT signal is issued by open-circuit of 4-wire signal line (between contacts “1”, “2” of the module), with the yellow LED on the module turning on.

The module provides limiting of short-circuit current in 2-wire circuit.

Power supply of 2-wire AL can be switched off for a short period by pressing the RESET button.
