The bag comes in two sizes:
The large bag measures approximately 8.5" long x 6.5" wide x 7.5" tall. It fits the contents of a large 50 cal ammo can (11.5" x 7" x 6"), or at least 1000 rounds of 5.56 mm.
The small bag measures approximately 7" long x 5" wide x 6" tall. It fits the contents of a standard 30 cal ammo can (10" x 7" x 3"), or at least 750 rounds of 5.56 mm.
The bag is made of 500 Denier High quality fabric, and its bottom is reinforced by a layer of 1000 Denier High quality fabric. All seams and stress areas are double stitched, and fully reinforced. The bag is compact and foldable when it is empty. It has a rectangular flat bottom and will stand upright all the time. At the top is a full diameter cinch cord opening for easiest access to the loose ammo inside. The diameter of the opening is controlled by a cinch cord and a cord lock. Inside the opening of the bag is a specially designed sleeping bag compression sack-style flap. It fully closes the opening and secures the contents inside when the cord is cinched tight. Since the flap is sewn to the inner wall of the bag , it moves away from the center of the opening when the bag is wide open. It can be easily tucked (inside or outside) out of the way from the opening.
The carry handles of the bag specially designed for carrying and load support. They are short, low profile, and positioned away of the opening. The carry handles extend and wrap completely under the bag to provide superior load support while carrying. Other features include an outer slot pocket (3" x 2" clear plastic window) for ammo label, and an internal mag loader pocket (4.5" x 4"). This pocket fits various rifle mag loaders, such as Maglula, or C-mag Loader.
The bag is made from lightweight, durable mil-spec High quality fabric, mil-spec nylon webbing, Ghillietex plastic cord-lock (IR reduction capable), and Mil-spec #69 thread. All stress areas are bartacked, and reinforced. The bag weighs only 5 oz (Large ), and 4 oz (Small ). It's now available in Coyote Brown, and Foliage Green.
