Sodium lignosulphonate is also named sodium lignin sulphonate, SLS powder (short for SLS/MN-1/MN-2). HS code:3804000090, CAS:8061-51-6. Extracted for wood pulp, it is a natural polymer, and has strong dispersion. As a surface-active substance, it can adsorb on the surfaces of various solid particle. Product as a pale yellow (brown) free-flowing powder, soluble in water, chemically stable, long-term sealed storage without decomposition.At present, sodium lignosulphonate is widely promoted and applied in resins, rubber, dyes, pesticides, ceramics, cement, asphalt, feed, water treatment, water coal slurry, concrete, refractories, oil drilling, compound fertilizer, smelting, casting, adhesive, agricultural chemicals, anti-scale chemical etc.

Sodium lignosulphonate is mainly used in concrete, as water reducing agent, set retarder and so on. Details as follow:

1, For the refractory material, ceramics dispersion, adhesion, water reduction enhancer, can improve the yield of 70% -90%.

2, Used as geology, oil, consolidate wall, oil exploration blocking agent and agent profile drilling mud additives.

3, For the wettable powder pesticide fillers and agricultural emulgator and plant growth regulators.

4, As construction chemicals: concrete water reducer, suitable for culverts, dams, reservoirs, airports and highways and other construction.

5, As detergents(anti-scale chemical/antiscalant chemical formula ligno) on boilers, circulating water stabilizer/water stabilizing agent.

6, Sand, sand-fixing agents and soil conditioner. 

7, For electrolytic plating, to make coating evenly, no tree pattern. 

8, As tanning aids on the leather industry. 

9, Used for smelting ore beneficiation flotation agents and adhesives and briquette binder.

10, A compound additives used CWS.

11, As a long-term slow-release fertilizer agent(agricultural chemicals), slow-release fertilizer efficiency improvement additives and fertilizer granulation, granulation binder feed.

12, Used as dye chemicals: vat dyes, disperse fillers, dispersants, diluents acid dyes and the like.

13,  For lead-acid batteries and alkaline storage battery cathode shrink proofing agents, acute hypothermia can improve the battery discharge and service life. 

14, Used to produce synthetic resins and adhesives. 

15, Used as a rubber reinforcing agent and asphalt emulsifier.
