Sodium gluconate is a polyhydroxy carboxylate, also known as: gluconic acid. Formula: C6H11O7Na; molecular weight: 218.14; HS code: 2918160000;CAS: 527-07-1. The appearance is white or light yellow crystalline granules or powder, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether. Mainly used as acid-base balance agents, water quality stabilizer, surface cleaners, cement admixtures, retarders, etc. Sodium gluconate is widely used in industry, such as efficient chelating agent in the construction, textile and metal surface treatment and water treatment and other industries, the steel surface cleaners(anti-scale chemical), glass bottle cleaners, electroplating industry aluminum oxide coloring, in the concrete industry used as efficient retarder, superplasticizer etc. 

Sodium gluconate can be used in architecture, textile printing and dyeing and metal surface treatment, and water treatment industries, such as efficient and chelating agent, steel surface cleaning agent, glass bottle of cleaning agent, electroplating industrial alumina coloring, corrosion inhibitor, used as a efficient retarder in the concrete industry, high efficiency water reducing agent, etc. :

1. Woven bag, lined with plastic. Net weight 25 ± 0.25kg or 40 ± 0.5kg.

2. Soluble in water, so should pay attention to prevent rain, insolation, moisture, when storage and transportation.

3. Usually the shelf life is 24 months; relevant tests shall be carried out to determine whether to use when expired.

4. Not flammable, but should stay away from open flame when storage and transportation .
