Rotary BOP
Usage and applicable range
Rotary control apparatus spin (rotary bop) is installed on the top of annular BOP or ram BOP, to seal the rotating drill and take the role of distribution during the underbalanced drilling with pressure. It should be matched with hydraulic BOP, drilling check valve,liquid gas separator and pressurized device without will killing during well trip, and can safely operate drilling with pressure and well trip without will killing. It plays an important role in some special operation, such as release the low--pressure gas layers,leakproof drilling, aerated drilling, serving wells without well killing and so on.
Main operating principle
Square drill stem drives bushing central pipe rubber seal core to rotary with the drilling stem through the driving bushing assembly on the rotary control device. The rubber seal core are used to seal the drilling stem through its own elastic deformation and well pressure assist sealing. The dynamic seal between central pipe and rotary assembly can be realized by the upper and lower dynamic seal assembly.
Hydraulic power station is used to control the opening and closing of hydraulic clamps, and at the same time provides lubricating oil to lubricate and cooling rotating assembly internal components and dynamic seal assembly; Circulating water is used to cool the upper dynamic seal assembly.
Structure composition and features
1.Rotary control apparatus (rotary BOP) is consist of rotary assembly, housing, hydraulic power station, control pipeline, hydraulic gate valve, assistant tools and so on.
2.Double rubber core are used to seal drilling tools, reliable and long life sealing.
3.The sealing assembly and rotary assembly can be easily and quickly replaced on the spot, which will not influence the site operation because of the rotary control apparatus.
4.Simple structure, convenient maintenance and wide applicable range
5.The rotary assembly can be overall disassembled, improving the working efficiency.
