ersaXpress-VER170S ADSL2+ device provides advanced long Reach/Rate, and crosstalk-free technology. The VX-VER170S incorporates backward compatible ITU G.ADSL Plus, G.span, G.992.3, G.992.1 (G.DMT), ITU-TG.992.2 (G.lite), ANSI T1.413 issue 2 standards with multimode modulation auto configurable capabilities. The ADSL2+ is a modem technology which incorporates existing phone lines and high speed Internet access. This Ethernet device extends your high speed
Internet connection or your existing Ethernet network to any room in the building or house with a telephone jack. All phone
line network products have been designed to operate on the telephone wire installed in homes throughout the world. Those telephone lines utilize all the same modular patch cords and connectors commonly used for telephones. TheVersaXpress-VER170S provides Reach / Rate control capability with 24.0 Mbps speed access at distance up to 8,000ft (2.5Km), 640Kbps 18,000ft (6.0Km), and 64Kbps 20,000ft (6.5Km) by sharing the existing phone line with Plain Old Telephone Service.
The VersaXpress-VER170S is the perfect solution for small home office and business offices to connect multiple PCs to a high speed Broadband Internet connection. It allows up to 253 users and incorporates a built-in NAT technology which acts as a firewall protecting valuable internal network data. Configurable as a DHCP server for your existing network, VersaXpress-VER170S ADSL2+ router acts as the only externally recognized Internet device on your local area network (LAN). The router can also be configured to block internal users’ access to the Internet. The bridge/router provides an RJ45 10/100 Ethernet port with auto negotiation. To install a ADSL2+/ADSL LAN or access the Internet, simp ly plug in the existing RJ-11 telephone jack. With minor configurations and no additional wiring to install, your network will be up and running in minutes. Splitters, terminators, modification to existing wires and filters are not needed in this setup procedure.
An Ethernet port is provided for user to view the linkk statusk, modify miscellaneous configurations, and configure the host computer.
