Application 

High Chrome brick is used in severe corrosion and high thermal stress areas of reinforcing fiberglass furnaces and E-glass furnaces, such as throat, sidewall of melting tank and clarifying basin, bottom paving especially around the bubbler, fore hearth , doghouse, corner block, feeder channel, channel lip, bushing blocks  and back-up blocks .

 

It can also be used in throat, dam and high wear areas in various types of glass furnaces such as clear soda-lime glass.

 

TY-C92 is used in less corrosion glass contact areas where temperature is low in reinforcing fiberglass furnace or as back up block in textile-type fiberglass furnace and high wear areas of stacks in furnaces for glass wool or reinforcing fiberglass.

 

TY-C90 is used in the high wear areas of stack in glass wool furnaces and reinforcing fiber glass furnaces. It is also used as back-up blocks in float glass furnaces.
