•Ceramics road stud is composed of high-temperature proessing porcelain base and opaque, glazed surface.
•Good wearing resistance and impact resistance.
•Ceramics road stud glazed finish protects against weathering especially during rain, excellent day time visibility, avaiable in high visibly white or yellow 4. A texture bottom helps them easily installed with epoxy resin
1. Use drill stop on the drilling bit to drill hole (Diameter:100mm, Depth:25mm)
2. Use hammer and chisel to remove the asphalt or concrete debris in the hole.
3. Use high pressure air blower to blow away the sand and water in the holes. Or use sponge to absorb the water.
4. Use depth gauge to test the proper depth of holes. Modification may require to if too deep or too shallow.
5. Use epoxy or asphalt adhesive to fasten reflector. Asphalt adhesive is suggested for installation on freeways or high traffic areas or for larger road projects, because it is cost and time effective. Epoxy is suggested for minor or trivial road works.
6. Place the glass road stud in the hole and turn about 30 degrees. Use a rubber hammer to secure the position by gently pounding the glass dome.
