Pile guides are used to fix the pontoon to the pipes set into the sea bed. They are made from 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and fixed to the pontoon by stainless steel bolts.
Pile guides will be fitted with high-resistance rubber rollers with nylon cores and stainless steel shafts deigned to cushion the blows against the piles produced by the movement of the pontoons due to the sea swell. This not only reduces the noise but also the appearance of gaps and misalignment brought about as a result of the structure's continuous banging against the pipes. These pile guides also include a rot-resistant tropical rubber fender of the same quality as fitted on the pontoons.
