present a specialized range of pure cotton quilts, which is popular as Kantha Quilts 'patchwork kantha pattern'. This is handmade work and involves laborious work. It takes nearly a week to complete one such cotton kantha work but the end result is not only pure ecstasy but is an exemplary example of the quality and finish that our artisans have to offer. These are invaluable embroidered and hand worked pieces that are priced competitively.
The quilts are traditionally made by women in poorer communities with limited resources. In West Bengal, where one of our partner organizations, New Light, is based, these quilts are called kantha quilts.
