Brief description of activated carbon rotary kiln:
Rotary kiln is the main equipment of calcining the cement clinker. The characteristics of a rotary kiln are with simple
structure, convenient and reliable control of the producing process,with little wearing parts and high running rate. It is the
equipment calcining the high grad cement in the cement factory. The rotary kiln is widely used in the metallurgy,chemical
industry,construction and other industries.
Working principle of activated carbon rotary kiln:
CaCO3 is the main ingredient of the limestone, and CaO is the main ingredient of lime. The basic principle of lime burning is to preheat materials with low temperature, quickly burn them with high temperature, utilize the perheater and the kiln to heat the limestone and compose them into CaO and CO2.,
Technological process: At first , preheat the limestone to above 800°C, they will start to compose, And then, they will be pushed into kiln for further burning by the push rod actuator, until the temperature reaches about 1200 °C. Finally, after cooled by cooler, they will be discharged out.
The advantages of activated carbon rotary kiln:
The dryer has advantages of reasonable structure, high efficiency, low energy consumption and convenient for transportation, and convenient and reliable operation; Therefore, the consumption of the coal and the electricity is lower than the common ones. While the production capacity is higher than 10-15%.
Structure features of activated carbon rotary kiln:
The kiln shell is made of rolled steel plates; its structure is optimized by computer software, and features" longitudinal flexible and transverse rigid”, which improved the loading of supporting device and stability of refractory lining,
The supporting roller bearings features smaller width over diameter ratio L/D, leading to its higher reliability.
The special high-started torque motor for cement industry rotary kiln is applied for driving system.
The sealing of labyrinth plus spring pressing with asbestos heat isolation layers attached, is applied higher so that reliability and longer service life of sealing are achieved.
