Silk Road Rugs, established in 1993 in Boudhanath, small Buddhist village situated in North east of Kathmandu Valley by women entrepreneur Mrs. Sonam Tsomo, aiming to produce high quality Tibetan hand knotted carpets.

Carpets are exclusively designed by European designer or reproduction of antique Tibetan rugs back in 19th Century with outstanding quality with high land Tibetan Wool and New Zealand wool by high skilled weavers.

We are member of the Good weave international who regularly monitors Child labor in our factory, who guarantees no child labor has been operated in any of the related process of the carpet production from making of the yarn to final finishing product.
